Parole Hearings

We know the system from decades of experience and we know deep details of the law from taking the time to study it. One staple that we have carried down is actually taking the time to interview each inmate on their unit. We know that it is basically impossible to speak for someone that you’ve never met face to face, so we take the time.

We also understand key things the board looks for in a parole packet. Parole law is complex and it takes a well-organized law group that is specifically focused on the changes and developments in parole law to give you the best chance of making parole. As we all see the world is changing, so we spearhead the movement for prison and parole transformation both legally and in term of resources.

We offer a variety of service packages for how to best represent each client. In addition to speaking on our client’s behalf in the hearings, we also work hard to help each man or woman have a successful homecoming by working closely with resources on the outside.

Our approach is comprehensive, whole hearted, and trusted. To make it plain, if you wouldn’t go before the judge and jury without a lawyer, don’t go before the Parole Board without one either.

Civil rights & Wrongful Death

On paper the United States Constitution and Civil Rights Laws sound great, but what use do they serve when you or your loved one have been hurt or killed by government officials? It is a privilege to represent those who have suffered excessive force, denial of medical treatment, and cruel and unusual punishment at the hands of the state or federal authorities. We sue police, prison and jail guards, wardens, medical and mental health staff when their conduct is inhumane or deadly.

KEY: The civil rights violation has to be committed by a person or entity acting “under color of law.” This simply means that they act on behalf of the government directly or indirectly. Thus, police officers, prison and jail guards, wardens, medical staff are generally acting under color of law at work, and can be sued!

Employment Discrimination (EEOC Claims)

The Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) is a federal agency that is responsible for enforcing laws that make it illegal to discriminate or retaliate against someone in the workplace based on certain characteristics, such as race, religion, national origin, sex, age, or disability. If you believe that you have been the victim of workplace discrimination, you may be able to file a claim with the EEOC, but don't do it alone. Legal representation also allows your claim to move quicker.

THP loves representing clients who have suffered real discrimination and retaliation in their workplace because he knows how it feels. If you are considering filing a claim with the EEOC, give us a call.

KEY: Generally you only have 180 days from the last incident to file with the EEOC, so don't hesitate!
